Founder Kerry McKiever is a fifth-generation Manasquan local with a lifelong passion for creativity and community. After spending six years living in Hawaii and flipping homes alongside her husband of 30 years, Kerry returned to her hometown to their very tight-knit surfing community. In 2011, she opened her first retail venture, Sailor Trading Company, in Sea Girt, NJ, and continued to evolve her career as a creative director. Terra Earth + Surf was born in 2020 as a natural extension of her vision—bringing beauty, sustainability, and soul into one inviting space.

Terra is proudly women-owned and operated. Kerry leads a team of talented women—true friends and family—with artistic backgrounds and a shared passion for design, retail, and service. Her children, Sunny, Catherine, and Lily, have grown up immersed in the world of shopkeeping and now help carry on the tradition with their own creative flair. Our team brings warmth, honesty, and heartfelt guidance to every experience at Terra.
